The guarantee period for products with chipboard backing and made of solid wood is 2 years, for AquaPro (PVC) it is 15 years for the backing material. It shall commence on the date of delivery. Silicone and acrylic grouting is subject to wear and tear. The warranty on the grouting is a maximum of 6 months, calculated from the date of installation.

Excluded from guarantee claims are damages caused by incorrect care or handling as well as by third parties.

We must be notified of material defects in writing without delay, but no later than 7 days after delivery. Defects which cannot be discovered within this period even after careful inspection must be reported in writing immediately after discovery, at the latest before expiry of the agreed or statutory limitation period.

Defective goods shall be kept available for inspection by us in the condition in which they are at the time of the discovery of the defect or shall be sent to us upon request. Any breach of the above obligations shall exclude all guarantee claims against us. The customer shall bear the full burden of proof for all prerequisites for a claim, in particular for the defect itself, for the time of discovery of the defect and for the timeliness of the notice of defect.

For defects in the goods, we shall initially provide guarantee at our discretion by rectification or replacement delivery. If the non-fulfilment fails, the customer can in principle demand a reduction or withdraw from the contract at his discretion. However, in the event of only a minor breach of contract, in particular in the event of only minor defects, the customer shall not be entitled to withdraw from the contract.

Discounted goods, sold under exclusion of any guarantee. If the customer receives defective assembly instructions, we are only obliged to supply assembly instructions that are free of defects and this only if the defect in the assembly instructions prevents proper assembly.

Goods delivered by a forwarding agent must be checked for transport damage immediately upon receipt. If damage is detected during delivery, it is essential that this is acknowledged by the driver on the delivery documents, otherwise any claim for compensation will be rejected by the carrier and us.
